An International Hospital
The Cancer Hospital SanaFontis defines itself as an international competence centre for cancer medicine and specifically addresses patients from all cultural backgrounds. An international team of physicians and nurses, fluent in various languages such as Russian, English, Arabic, Turkish, Romanian, Slovakian, Spanish or Portuguese, provides the medical care. We are aware of differences in culture and respect the special wishes and requirements of the patients and their relatives, for example:
- We respect culturally determined eating habits
- Upon request patients can receive treatment and care from physicians and nurses of their own gender
- We offer prayer and worship rooms for Christians, Muslims and patients of other faiths
- Our mobile medical team also visits and treats patients abroad if they cannot come to our hospital
- We arrange accommodation for accompanying persons and relatives
